I'm just curious if anybody feels that it might be helpful if the forum added more categories by instrument. I'm not saying that it isn't nice to have a general forum category where we all can meet and discuss general BG topics, but it would be great expand the forum to have a category for mandolin players to discuss playing the mandolin. What sayeth' ye banjo, doro, fiddle and bass meisters?

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm usually not at a loss for words, but whenever I check the forum I seem to not know what to say or where to say it

We're going to re-organise it all over the next few days so that there is a category for each instrument... just hang on in there!

I would suggest a category where students of all instruments could post their methods of using the lesson resources: do you download video to a laptop? a desktop? do you toggle around between listening the mp3s and watching the videos? what are your routines in approaching a new or challenging piece?

But knowing that this kind of discussion isn't fragmented among the different instrument categories would be a plus.
