Instructors Basses

Hi Andy

I was wondering if you could find out what basses the instructors use to record. I would think some of the players might use laminated or carved for different recordings depending on the sound they are looking for.

I just picked up my Upton Hybrid (carved top, soild maple ribs and laminated back. I ordered it this past summer. Uptons are now completely hand crafted in Mystic, Conn. The bass sounds great. I was wondering if Mark, Missy or Bub have heard of or played one of these basses.
