Here's a post! I have been fudging EMD for two years since I was introduced to it by some people I play with (the Lobster Creek crew in souther Maine!). I did a search & found this site, and the EMD Banjo lesson w/Ned Luberecki. Well, a week later, I'm able to crank the advanced break at good speed & cannot wait to whip it out next time it comes around at our next jam. BUTT there's more! Tony Trischka (my ex teacher oh so long ago) came through southern NH promoting his new (excellent) double banjo album, & I went to see him last night at the Stone Church in Newmarket. Guess who was with him?? Ned Luberecki! Awesome show, & I got to thank Ned in person for the EMD lesson. Thanks to the dudes that put this site together.
