Which flat pickin' pick should I pick?

Hey. Mike here. I'm 47 and been playing around on the guitar since I was 16. Re-discovered bluegrass about 4 years ago, when I returned from Afghanistan. Started playing everyday and trying very hard to become profficient at flat picking. The problem I'm having is I can't find a pick that I'm completely satisfied with. I like the nylon .73's for strumming, but when I try to flatpick a break, the pick moves around too much in my hand. I tried the Dava picks with the rubber grip, but I don't really like the tone I get. I don't know...maybe my technique needs some work. Any advice would sure be appreciated. Thanks.

Picking notes between chords changes...?

I am looking for a good reference book or something to show some notes which can be picked when changing between chords...

For example, going from the G chord to the D chord, you can pck the C and then B on the 5th string then the open D 4th string...

I am looking to get ahold of these types of chord changes for all chords.
Obviously I would love to make it to a few jams and pick up the changes that way, but am out of the country for now.

Anyone know a good source for the chord changes? books, etc.

Thanks

Fake Book Songs

Forgive a simple english picker but it would be great if we could hear the songs in the fakebook, so that those of us who read tab, have an idea of how they sound. Can anyone suggest where or how we can get to hear them.

This is a great site and I am about to do an annual subscription.

Why capo up 2 and play in C, rather than just play in D?

I have been working on "Bury Me Beneath the Willow". It notated and performed in the key of D. My question is why capo up 2 and play in C, rather than just play in D? I know this is often the case when playing in the key of A - often people will capo and play in G. What advantages are there to doing this? Is is just a personal perference thing? I don't quite understand.

Tablature as well as musical notation

I love the lessons but is there any chance that you will be offering them in tablature? I find that without the video I end up using the wrong finger on the wrong string in the wrong position.
Thanks,
Mike
