dobro stuff

I've got salt creek down but it sucks. I can't get past the suck stage and I'm still barely making it at the slow jam pace. it's very irritating. Couple parts in there I just can't get it to sound good no matter how slow I go. I'm starting on EMD. It's going to be more painful maybe.

I think all these great fiddle tunes and banjo tunes need a lot of attention and time, but they're worth it. I'm just starting on Salt Creek, my second lesson from BC. I'd like to know if you're still working on it, or if you think it's gotten better since 30/11/07 when you posted.

How's Salt Creek going, anonymous? The only part I'm having any issue with is the first bit of the coda. But still very slow (slow jam speed).

Pablo, I think that I picked Salt Creek for dobro up early this year and I have had the opportunity to try and play it with Tab Tabscott's band a few times. They really burn it up, and it is all I can do to almost keep up with them, but I am almost there after a few months of practicing on that one for a while most weekends.
